work. "Carolyn invokes the “Ancient Ones” to bring ideas to her canvas. As she pours the inks, sprinkles the salts and infuses her special ingredients, images begin to make themselves known. During one such creative session, not only did images appear within the ink swirls and salt blooms but the artist's own shadow took the form of an eagle in flight across the surface of the canvas - A true sign that this piece had the sought after blessing of the ages.
